1. What you save
An engine on E85 injects about 40 % more fuel. Even with that extra consumption, every litre of SP98 you replace costs €1.24 instead of €2.225. You save €0.98 per litre, €0.90 if your machine ran on SP95-E10. Over a season, it looks like this:
| Your machine | Consumption | Saving per 100 km | Per year | Street surcharge paid back in |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Harley-Davidson Street Glide | 5.9 L | €5.80 | €464 (8,000 km) | 2,600 km |
| Indian Chief, Chieftain, Challenger | 6 L | €5.90 | €470 (8,000 km) | 2,500 km |
| Quad CFMOTO CForce 1000 | 12.5 L | €12.30 | €490 (4,000 km) | 1,200 km |
| Polaris Ranger XP 1000 | 12 L | €11.80 | €590 (5,000 km) | 1,300 km |
| Can-Am Maverick X3 Turbo RR | 14.2 L | €13.90 | €420 (3,000 km) | 1,100 km |
Consumption figures reported by owners (Street Glide, CForce 1000, Maverick X3) or estimated (Indian, Ranger). Fuel prices of 16 September 2026. The saving varies with your riding and the price at the pump.
The EVO e85® surcharge pays for itself before the end of your first season.
After that, every fill-up costs you half. If you ride for work, fuel is your biggest cost line: that is the one EVO e85® cuts in half.
2. How it works
- You order online
Brand, model, year. We build your two tunes from your ECU’s own file, remotely. The E85 tune starts from your petrol tune: same engine, same character, only the fuel changes.
- You receive them in the TDN app
The HP Tuners app on your phone, linked to your RTD4 over Bluetooth. Before you set off, you tap “SYNC FILES” until the green tick shows on both tunes.
- You choose at the pump
Filled up with E85, you load the E85 tune. Filled up with petrol, the petrol tune. A few minutes, ignition on, with network coverage. You ride off with the right tune for the fuel in the tank.
3. What you buy
EVO e85® Remote is a Multi-Maps conversion: your machine runs on E85 or on petrol, your choice, at every fill-up, and nothing is fitted on the machine. You take it on its own, or with a PNP TUNE tune, Street or Custom. The petrol tune depends on the package: with the stock file, it is the fuel the manufacturer intended, SP95-E10 or SP95; with a Street or Custom tune, it is SP98.
Choose your package
- The conversion alone
EVO e85®
= the EVO e85® conversion
Your machine stays as it is. Two tunes in the RTD4: E85, and your stock file for petrol (SP95-E10 or SP95).
You want the fuel saving, nothing else - Street + conversion
EVO e85® Street
= a Street Remote tune + the EVO e85® conversion
The PNP TUNE tune removes the speed limiter, frees all the torque and smooths the throttle. Two tunes: E85 and SP98.
Most of our customers, motorcycle, quad and SSV alike - Custom + conversion
EVO e85® Custom
= a Custom Remote tune + the EVO e85® conversion
The tune is adjusted on your engine’s own measurements, remotely, with the E85 from your station. Two tunes: E85 and SP98.
Modified engine, turbo, or you ride a lot
The price depends on your machine
| Your machine | Conversion alone | Street + conversion | Custom + conversion |
|---|---|---|---|
| Harley-Davidson, CFMOTO, Segway | 249 € | 399 € | 729 € |
| Indian, Can-Am and Polaris without turbo | 349 € | 499 € | 829 € |
| Can-Am and Polaris turbo | 449 € | 599 € | 929 € |
Turbo: €100 more, we check that your injectors and pump can keep up. Some ECUs (Indian, Polaris, Can-Am) must be unlocked once: it is added to your order automatically when your machine needs it.
Do you already have the RTD4 unit?
- NoAdd €250. You receive the RTD4 unit, the cable for your machine and the HP Tuners credits. There is nothing else to buy.
- YesNothing to add. Your two tunes arrive in your unit.
Already a PNP TUNE customer?
Your tune is already in your RTD4. E85 is added for €149 on a Street, €199 on a Custom. Turbo: €100 more. You buy nothing you already own.
4. Why PNP TUNE
- Nothing to fit. No module between the ECU and the injectors, no new harness, no fuel line to cut, no ethanol sensor, no bigger injectors. At PNP TUNE, the conversion lives in the file.
- Made for your machine. Harley-Davidson, Indian, Can-Am, Polaris, CFMOTO and Segway: every tune starts from your ECU’s own file, not from a generic file.
- Same character. Same filling, same ignition timing, same throttle response. Nothing changes in the tune, but you see the savings at the pump.
- Custom tuned on your fill-up. We read your engine’s measurements on your second E85 fill-up, with the fuel from your station, not with laboratory E85.
- Remotely, wherever you are. You can go back to stock, ride with an E85 tune or a stock tune, or even performance tunes with or without E85. You receive your tunes in the TDN app on your phone. No ECU to ship, no appointment.
- A registered trademark. EVO e85® has been registered with the INPI since 2020. The name commits PNP TUNE.
- Poivre Noir® AI, PNP TUNE’s AI mechanic, answers your questions about E85, your machine and your tune, at any hour.
5. The fill-up rule
One rule, and E85 causes no trouble at all: you only switch fuel once you are on reserve, and you load the new fuel’s tune at the station, before setting off. On reserve, almost none of the old fuel is left. The right tune is always the one for the fill-up you have just done.
- E85 fill-up on reserveE85 tune. That is the normal case.
- No E85 at the stationFull tank of petrol, petrol tune. Until the next fill-up, no prolonged full throttle: there is still some ethanol at the bottom.
- No E85 and no networkYou keep the E85 tune and put in only a few litres of petrol, never more than what is left in the tank. You ride gently to an E85 station or until you have network coverage.
- Not sure what is in the tankYou keep the current tune, ride gently down to reserve, then do a full fill-up with a single fuel.
This instruction is written in the NOTES field of each of your two tunes. You read it again in the app when you load the tune.
6. What we tell you before you order
- EVO e85® is not a type-approved conversion. In France, type approval of E85 conversions is not yet open to motorcycles and quads. An E85 tune falls under the same framework as any PNP TUNE tune. We promise neither a mention on the registration document nor cover by your insurer.
- Your injectors and your pump. On E85 they flow 40 % more at full load. On a big engine kit or a turbo, we check the margin before accepting the machine. If it is missing, we tell you, and there is no EVO e85® for that machine.
- The materials. Manufacturers do not design these machines for E85: seals, pump, hoses, tank. You are informed of this and accept it when you order.
- Winter. Pump E85 drops to 60 % ethanol from 31 October to 15 March. Your E85 tune is set for summer: in winter it runs slightly richer, on the safe side. Cold starting is worked on in the E85 tune.
- Winter storage. Before storing the machine for winter, you finish on a tank of petrol with the petrol tune. No E85 in the tank while it is laid up.
- Sea-Doo and Ski-Doo. No EVO e85® on personal watercraft or snowmobiles: ethanol absorbs water and separates in a tank that lives on the water; a snowmobile combines winter E60 with very cold starts. Can-Am machines remain covered.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need an ethanol sensor?
No. You choose the tune when you fill up, from the TDN app on your phone. The sensor, the module and the bigger injectors are what you do not buy.
Can I mix E85 and petrol in the tank?
No, except to get you out of trouble. With the E85 tune, a few litres of petrol on reserve get you to the next station. The opposite, E85 with the petrol tune, leans out the mixture at full load: that is the one case never to cause.
What happens if I load the wrong tune?
Petrol tune with a tank of E85: the mixture is lean at full load, the engine overheats and can break. E85 tune with a tank of petrol: the mixture is rich, the engine misfires, the catalytic converter overheats. The fill-up rule exists so that neither ever happens.
Which petrol with the petrol tune?
The one your tune is built for. With the stock file (EVO e85® alone), the fuel the manufacturer intended: SP95-E10 or SP95. With a PNP TUNE Street or Custom tune, SP98, as today.
How long does a tune change take?
Several minutes, ignition on, phone linked to the RTD4 over Bluetooth, with an Internet connection. Before going for a ride, you sync both tunes in the app (green tick).
Does my machine change character on E85?
No. The E85 tune starts from your petrol tune: same filling, same ignition timing, same throttle response. Only the fuel model changes. You should feel nothing, and that is intentional.
What if I mostly ride in winter?
Winter E85 contains at least 60 % ethanol. Your E85 tune is set for summer and runs slightly richer in winter, which is the safe side. At steady speed, the sensors correct the difference. The saving stays around 50 % per kilometre.
Why do turbo machines cost €100 more?
On a boosted engine, fuel demand rises with boost pressure. The injector and pump margin is checked before delivery, at every level, including EVO e85® alone.
I already have a PNP TUNE tune. Do I pay for everything again?
No. Adding EVO e85® costs €149 on a Street, €199 on a Custom, plus €100 if your machine is turbo. You receive your two tunes in the RTD4 you already have. Moving from Street to Custom stays at €333.
Is it legal? And my insurance?
The E85 conversion of a motorcycle or quad is not type-approved in France to date. EVO e85® falls under the same framework as any PNP TUNE remap. We promise neither a mention on the registration document nor cover by your insurer: it is up to you to check with them.
Where can I find E85?
More than 4,000 stations in France, 42 % of the network. In Belgium and Switzerland, E85 is still rare: EVO e85® is aimed first at customers who ride in France.
Why no Sea-Doo or Ski-Doo?
Ethanol absorbs water: in a tank that lives on the water, E85 separates into a water-ethanol layer at the bottom and a weakened petrol above it, and no tune matches that. A snowmobile runs on winter E60 with very cold starts, the two hard points of ethanol. Can-Am machines remain covered.
