Data logging replaces the dyno. PNP TUNE examines the real behaviour of the motorcycle — load, temperatures, ECU corrections and response to the throttle — then refines the tune with the recorded data.

PNP TUNE keeps the factory base, the engine protections and the history needed to support the motorcycle over time.
Calibration warranty
Follow-up on the PNP TUNE tune is covered for ten years. The installer may charge 30 minutes to 1 hour of labour for the work.
Return to the pre-tuning configuration
With Remote RTD4, returning to the setup recorded before the tuning is free and the customer does it himself with his RTD4. If a third-party installer carries it out, that installer may charge 30 minutes to 1 hour of labour.
Software ID
PNP works on the Indian base that is present and keeps its factory software number.
SAV gratuit
If an Indian update replaces the calibration, PNP starts again from the new factory base free of charge.
Engine protections
The safety and engine protection strategies managed by the ECU are kept.
Emissions control
The original emissions equipment and its diagnostics stay active on a compliant road setup.
An Indian update can overwrite the tuning. PNP TUNE then starts again from the latest factory version available and puts the values suited to the motorcycle back in, free of charge, so it stays aligned with its most recent software base.

01Have you fitted an exhaust or a filter?+
A Bassani, Freedom Performance, TAB Performance, Rinehart Racing, Cobra, S&S Cycle, Khrome Werks, Trask Performance, Two Brothers Racing or Vance & Hines system changes how the engine fills, as does an Arlen Ness intake on a Thunderstroke or an S&S Stealth on a Scout. The tune has to follow: choose Custom Remote, or write to PNP TUNE for a check.
02Is the factory speed limiter removed?+
Yes. Speed limiter removal is included in the Street Remote and Custom Remote tunes. A motorcycle limited to 180 km/h is unrestricted from the first level.
03Which Indian are in the PNP TUNE catalogue?+
The 2014–2026 Indian catalogue keeps the Thunderstroke 111 and 116, Scout 1000, 1133 and 101, FTR 1200, PowerPlus 108 and PowerPlus 112 families. The exact Remote availability appears once the model year and model are selected.
04Can I have my Indian Motorcycle tuned remotely?+
Yes. All 64 Indian entries in the catalogue are offered as PNP Remote through TDN, including Challenger, Pursuit and Scout 2025–2026. Selecting the model year and model opens the matching pack directly; 21 of them require the Bosch MG1 unlock before the read, shown on the entry concerned.
05Which ECUs are supported?+
Every Indian ECU within the PNP scope is supported, including the Bosch ME17.9.74 and MG1CA007 Gen1 and Gen2. PNP automatically links the tune, the hardware and the procedure matching the model year and model selected.
06Can I go back to the pre-tuning setup free of charge?+
Yes. With Remote RTD4, returning to the setup recorded before the tuning is free and the customer does it himself with his RTD4. If a third-party installer carries it out, that installer may charge 30 minutes to 1 hour of labour.
07What does the ten-year tune guarantee cover?+
For ten years PNP TUNE covers, free of charge, the follow-up of the tune, its restoration to the recorded setup and its support after a manufacturer software change. The installer may charge 30 minutes to 1 hour of labour for the work. This guarantee covers the tune and its follow-up, not the mechanics of the motorcycle.
08What happens after an update at Indian?+
If an Indian update replaces the calibration, PNP starts again from the new factory base and reapplies the matching PNP tune free of charge.
09Are the safeguards and the emissions equipment kept?+
Yes. The engine protection strategies managed by the ECU, along with the original emissions equipment and its diagnostics, stay active on a compliant road setup.
010Can the 180 km/h limiter be removed?+
Yes, on the models concerned. Removal is included in the Street Remote and Custom Remote tunes, from the first level.
011Do I need a dyno?+
No. Data logging replaces the dyno in the PNP TUNE process. The data recorded on the motorcycle allows its real behaviour to be checked and the Custom Remote tune to be refined.
012I already own an RTD4: can I buy the Indian tune only?+
Yes. The Street Remote (350 €) or Custom Remote (630 €) tune can be bought on its own, HP Tuners credit pool included. The RTD4 serial number and the VIN are enough: the tune arrives through TDN, even if the interface was bought from another HP Tuners dealer.
013Challenger PowerPlus 112 with exhaust and filter: which solution should I choose?+
Custom Remote. The data logs recorded on your motorcycle (cold engine, riding up to temperature, a full-load pull in 4th within a permitted setting) let PNP TUNE adapt fuelling, timing and transitions to that precise setup.
0142023 Scout Bobber with MG1CA007 Gen 2 ECU: why an unlock?+
This ECU is locked by the manufacturer. The unlock service (100 €) prepares the ECU at HP Tuners Europe before the first read; the Remote tune then runs normally with the RTD4 and the right cable.
015How long between the order and the tune?+
Once the read arrives through TDN, the Street Remote tune is usually ready within 24 to 48 working hours. With Custom Remote, allow a few days more: each iteration depends on your data logs.
016I am an Indian dealer or an independent workshop: how do I work with PNP TUNE?+
Through the HP Tuners dealer network: read in the workshop with a professional interface, exchange through TDN and PNP tune. Write to tune@pnptune.com with your business name and your country to receive the trade terms.
017Can I move from Street Remote to Custom Remote afterwards?+
Yes. The upgrade (333 €) keeps your RTD4, your cable and the HP Tuners credit pool already tied to the motorcycle; it adds data logging, analysis and step-by-step adjustments.
018I am selling my motorcycle: can I put the original setup back?+
Yes, free of charge. With Remote RTD4 you restore the setup recorded before the tuning yourself, using the interface. PNP TUNE then supports the tune for ten years for that vehicle.
