1. The MG1CA007 Gen 2 ECU is unrestricted through the OBD port
MAPTUN is the world’s first solution to remove the speed limit on the Polaris Sportsman 600 2027.
The Polaris Sportsman 600 2027 is fitted with a Bosch MG1CA007 Gen 2 ECU. With a common remapping tool, this ECU first needs an ECU unlock before anything can be written.
With MAPTUN, the speed limit is removed through the diagnostic port (OBD): no ECU unlock, no ECU removal. MAPTUN is the only solution that removes the speed limit on an MG1CA007 Gen 2 through the OBD port without an ECU unlock.
2. Time, and control over time
An ECU unlock has to be planned: the ECU must be removed, shipped, returned and refitted. Meanwhile, the vehicle is off the road.
Through the OBD port, the speed limit is removed on site, on the day you choose. The vehicle never leaves the workshop, and you know in advance how long it will be stopped.
For a professional who delivers vehicles, this means responsiveness: the customer who asks for the speed limit removal gets it with no shipping delay.
3. One device for all your vehicles
The MAPTUN UNLOCK SPEED LIMIT pack contains the Maptuner Nano NX3 device, the Polaris 01-MT022/2-2 cable, the Maptun licence and the PNP TUNE UNLOCK SPEED LIMIT tune.
One Maptun licence covers one vehicle. The device and the cable are reused: for each further Sportsman 600 2027, you only need the UNLOCK SPEED LIMIT tune, Maptun licence included.
Every Maptuner Nano NX3 lets you monitor live engine values and read fault codes, without a tuning licence. The Maptun licence adds data logging and further diagnostic functions.

4. What this means for your vehicle
At checkout, you give the email of your Maptuner account and the vehicle’s VIN. As soon as it is paid, PNP TUNE assigns your Maptun licence to that account; if you do not have one yet, PNP TUNE creates it and sends you your login details. When buying in advance, the VIN is optional: the licences stay on your account and you assign them yourself to the vehicles of your choice.
Download the MyMaptuner app (Android or Apple): you need it. As soon as your vehicle is added, the PNP TUNE tune appears in it and you load it with the Maptuner Nano NX3. For the Sportsman 600 2027, there is no stock calibration to send us.

5. What about a Stage 1?
Today, MAPTUN is used to remove the speed limit. For a Stage 1, the Polaris is done for now with HP Tuners and the RTD4. More MAPTUN solutions are coming soon at PNP TUNE.

No. For the Sportsman 600 2027, all we need is the email of your Maptuner account and the vehicle’s VIN.
I have several vehicles: do I need another device?
No. The Maptuner Nano NX3 and the cable are reused. Each vehicle needs its own Maptun licence, included in the €244 tune-only offer.
Does MAPTUN also do the Stage 1?
Coming soon at PNP TUNE: MAPTUN also offers a Stage 1, with an ECU unlock, like HP Tuners. For now, the Polaris Stage 1 is done with HP Tuners and the RTD4.
Is the speed limit removal allowed on public roads?
Speed limit removal is for off-road use only: private land or competition.
